Eat Healthy Not Expensive

PAY ATTENTION: Everyone saying eating healthy or eating clean (if you use idiotic terms like that) is so expensive, you’re insane.

•Now I fully admit I don’t look at the price of anything, I have someone grocery shop for me.

•However after reading dozens of messages I decided to do some shopping and give you the mathematical breakdown of animal source proteins based on a 200 pound man and his daily protein requirements (science based at .88g/ lb of bodyweight)

SHOPPING INVENTORY:

•Ground turkey: 24 servings

•Chicken: 24 servings

•Italian sausage: 12

•Eggs: 10 servings

•Total: 70 servings

•$52

**This is enough for 2 weeks (14 days of animal proteins)

BREAKDOWN:

•4oz =20-24 grams protein

•20oz/ day of animal proteins (5 servings)

•200 pound man = 175-80g protein/ daily

•30% of total protein consume in whey protein = approx 53 grams

•55% of total protein from animal sources = 96 grams

•15% from fish/ grains = 26 grams

•Total = 175 grams

**WHAT ABOUT CARBS?

•20 pound bag of Basmati rice is about $20. That will last you like 4 months.

•25 pound bag of steel cut oats about $15

*You can basically eat healthy or clean (whatever the fuck that means) for like $30/ week factoring in green veggies
