High/low Chest Press Set
•Doing all high/low sets on chest today.
•High/ low set is essentially a high weight set (6-8) reps, then an immediate lower weight set (10-12) reps.
•I’m using both a purple and black TDX resistance band attached to my wrist cuffs to modify the 100 pound dumbells making these heavier in the 155-165 pound range.
•I then immediately unstrap and rep out the 100’s.
•If you have heavy enough dumbells then great. Use them.
•But maybe you’re in a hotel gym that only has 50’s, or pretty strong like me and 100-120’s isn’t very heavy.
•Adding bands can significantly add effectiveness to the exercise.
