HIIT Training For Sore Knees

Ive been having some knee tendinitis lately, a product of simply getting older, combined with multiple knee surgeries and how hard I train. That being said to reduce the inflammation in my left knee I need a few days off from sprinting. But as I continue to get ready for next cover shoot it is important to stay on track.
Here is a great HIIT workout I did on the football field last night and it caused zero knee pain

Part 1:
 1) Jump rope 60 seconds
 2) 15 squat jumps (push off your heels and land in a squat) this reduces  any pressure on knees
 3) Jog to 30 yard line and back
(5 sets)

Part 2:
 1) Double spin jumps 20 reps
 2) 15 squat jumps
 3) Long step lunge walk to 25 yard line, jog back
 (5 sets)

Part 3:
 1) 30 seconds jump rope single leg. So 30 seconds jumping on just one leg, then the other.
 2) Jumping lunge alternating legs with each jump. 20 reps total
 3) Jog to 40 yard line then walking lunge back to start
(5 sets)
