Cuffed Sup. Medial Delt Fly
Man this was a good one.
First time ever using the wrist cuffs to perform the supinated grip medial delt cable fly.
•Using the wrist cuffs versus just grabbing the cable ball was night and day. I was able to actively keep my palms facing up driving the hands out feeling intense isolated tension on the medial deltoid.
•Set the cable height just below the shoulder height.
•Sit so your chest is on the inclined bench.
•Drive your hands out and slightly up while keeping the palms up the whole time. If you cannot keep the palms up you have a shoulder flexibility issue you absolutely need to be working on each week as it will limit progress.
•Then pronate the grip and finish with a shortened stroke rear deltoid fly.
•Don’t make the wrist cuffs too tight so you can seamlessly move from one exercise into the other.
•Short range of motion on the rear delt flyby. Squeeze that posterior deltoid until you cannot take the pain of that fucking knife being jammed in there anymore!! Then do 4 more reps!!!
